Medieval brown leather single wrap belt with red cross

Medieval brown leather belt manually dyed by our craftsmen in Yute to achieve that aged effect of time that gives personality to our products and that we love so much.

It is composed of two 4cm wide strips of quality bovine leather attached by a leather riveted to match the cross. The protagonist is undoubtedly the cross Pate in red and silver that measures 7.5cm high by 7.5cm wide. This cross has between its legs a design of carved skulls, symbol of what awaits the infidels who cross the path of the lord of the king's lands or the bloody Templar knight.

This type of medieval cross is called cross Pate as it has narrower arms when it reaches the center and widens at the ends. The cross signifies strength and courage and was adopted among others by the Knights Templar, first in red color signifying the blood and sacrifice of Christ and later, during the third crusade, the Teutonic Order also used a Templar cross, but changing its color to black.

It is a medieval accessory of unisex Yute craftsmanship that can be worn by a warrior of the king, as well as by a knight of the Order of the Temple.
