Tax included

Medieval corset made of quality brown leather, hand-dyed with antique effect and with a central Fleur de Lis design. Medieval accessory suitable for your historical reenactment event or medieval fair.

Medieval brown leather corset manually riveted by our artisans in Yute crea, is composed of a piece of top quality bovine leather of 14cm high that forms the front and another back piece of the same size.

This medieval accessory from the workshops of Yute crea, is adorned with a metallic piece reminiscent of the medieval Fleur de Lis, surrounded by four antique gold-colored studs representing the four cardinal points. The Fleur de Lis is widely used in heraldry and to mark the north in the compass rose.

There is the legend of the Fleur de Lis of the Sacred Ampoule, which tells that on the day of the baptism and coronation of the Frankish King Clovis I in the Cathedral of Reims, the Sacred Ampoule arrived from heaven, transported by a dove to the hands of Bishop Saint Remigius, with a bouquet of lilies, Fleurs de Lis, containing the oil to anoint and sanctify the king, thus signifying that his authority was of divine origin.

The Cross of Santiago, symbol of the Order of Santiago, also has the Fleur de Lis on three of its points: on both ends of the horizontal stroke, as well as on the top of the vertical, and towards the lower end we can see how a sword is drawn.

This piece of brown leather craftsmanship manually dyed in the workshops of Yute to obtain an aged effect, is a medieval complement of leather craftsmanship essential for a woman of medieval times, the corset has been used since ancient times to extol the female figure and in Yute we offer it to combine with the dress of innkeeper or with the women's medieval costume.

The leather pieces that make up this handcrafted medieval corset are hand dyed by our artisans of Yute crea, so there will be differences in the treatment of aging in each product. If the exact color of the leather is important for your historical reenactment costume, please contact us to know the shade of the current stock of the product.
