Roman and Celtic leather footwear in earth-brown
These pieces follow the simple, sturdy feel seen in footwear from Roman villas and Celtic settlements. The flexible leather shapes itself to the foot with a smooth touch and those small natural marks of real hide. The wraparound shape and the authentic leather laces hold the instep with a steady, comfortable fit that works well for long walks.
The design follows shapes used across the northwest of Europe: low cut, gathered instep and a lace system that adjusts without pressure. They match well with tunics, wool dresses or rustic trousers, both for fairs and for historical reenactment events.
In Yutecrea workshops each pair is made by hand, shaping every fold so it moves naturally. The sole is light and helps maintain a relaxed step on uneven ground.
